Full Moon Yoga with Soundbath

Service Description

Full moon yoga usually takes place the day before the actual full moon (so the moonrise is earlier). We meet at the Children's discovery trail parking area, on Golf Course Road (just South of the Bridge on Rt. 11) by 6:15 pm, take a 15 minute walk up the hill to Jefferson Point, and then enjoy 45 minutes of yoga and a 45 minute sound bath as the moon rises over the Blue Ridge and the sun sets over the Alleghany Mountains. There is a panoramic view of southern Rockbridge County, occasional deer, and some regular fireflies and mosquitoes. Bring walking shoes, a mat or towel, water, and maybe some bug spray. The view is worth the walk. Payment is $25 for this special class. If you have a 10 class, monthly unlimited, or semester unlimited, use your pass and pay an extra $15.
